Basic Premise

In the year 2013, a incredibly virulent strain of 'superflu' has begun to wipe out the population of Earth. A group of people has found themselves in a facility on Paradise Isle, Building 113.

Immune for reasons they don't understand and quarantined by what's left of the military, they begin attempting to rebuild some kind of cohesive existence while they wait. With so few healthy people left in the world, it seems likely those some of these few left scattered elsewhere will eventually be sent there too.

Very few people are there by choice, but eventually they'll be the only ones that are left alive. Enjoy your apocalypse.

Characters / World / Questions

 Characters in this musebox will be adapted to the setting.  It's sort of a King-verse archetype. Characters can have abilities (like Carrie, Charlie or Dinky Earnshaw), or they can be mundane.  They can be 'patients' at the facility, or they can work at Bulding 113.  They cannot, however, come from another universe.  Your character is adapted as if they grew up in this universe.  You can have an OC or a fandom character.  

The world is currently being ravaged by Captain Trips.  Many have died, but it's not finished yet.  This is a world on the brink of the end, but it's not quite there yet.  The world is, for the most part, like our own.  There are abilities, but not everyone has them.  There are thin spots where monsters can come in, but they aren't everywhere.  And there are agencies that enjoy experimenting on humans. 

Building 113 may or may not be one of those places.
